# 06. Governance

Solaris adopts decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) for governance. The DAO mainly deals with the following matters:

* Adding or delisting staking assets in the Solaris ecosystem, community members can initiate proposals and the DAO will vote on them.
* Adding or delisting synthetic assets in the Solaris ecosystem, community members can initiate proposals and the DAO will vote on them.
* The staking rate of staking asset, proposals are made according to the price volatility of collateral assets, and DAO members vote on decisions.
* Other decisions within the Solaris ecosystem.

DAO members come from different fields in various countries, all sharing the common vision of "bridging the gap between crypto-assets and traditional assets."

$SOK holders can participate in the DAO and vote on various proposals.
